For Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Amex, Member Banks The new CPT3000v3 is the third generation of Barnes' successful CPT series of EMV Personalisation Verification Tools. CPT3000v3 is designed to be simple to use for the non-technical operator at the same time as providing detailed information for the IT and engineering staff.  Network friendly design allows the centralised management of multiple systems while conforming to all the security requirements of the various payment scheme authorities. The standard system includes test scripts to verify card applications against the current specifications from EMV, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express*, Interac and Discover.  Test script updates are made available as and when necessary to keep up with changing requirements.  Users can also specify their own individual card requirements either in conjunction with or instead of the standard rules.  Contact, contactless**, and dual interface** cards can be tested. Optional packages provide for the import of card requirement data from the Visa Personalisation Assistant tool, testing to the Visa EU/CEMEA Card Validation Tool (CVT) specification, and Host Simulation to check the card's operation in an online environment. The CPT range of PVT systems was originally developed in collaboration with Visa who use the CPT2000 and now the CPT3000 for certification of EMV cards.  In the intervening time Barnes has worked closely with all the major schemes, issuers, and personalisation bureax to develop a tool that enables Member Banks and suppliers of all the payment system operators to quickly, easily and accurately verify that the chip, magnetic stripe and embossed data personalised on any payment smart card match each other and conform with the complex and strict requirements laid down by the payment system operators. The CPT3000v3 EMV PVT includes a powerful diagnostic capability in problem solving and data analysis situations. The CAT3000v3 has all the facilities of the CPT3000v3 and also includes facilities to develop new test scripts and/or modify the standard scripts.  Scripts developed on the CAT3000v3 may be used by the CPT3000v3 as well as the CAT3000v3.  The system is not inherently restricted to EMV card applications, any chip card application may be tested.  The CPT/CAT3000 EMV PVT is an essential tool in all EMV chip card personalization, implementation and support operations.
