07/2011 – Barnes International Receives GlobalPlatform Qualification for their new GlobalPlatform Test Tool
15 July 2011, London - Barnes International announced the qualification of its new GlobalPlatform Test Tool, GPT, which ensures that card products are compliant to GlobalPlatform UICC Card Configuration.
The development of this new test tool is the result of the strong commitment that Barnes has made to developing tools for the mobile payment sector in general and to GlobalPlatform in particular. Barnes joined GlobalPlatform two years ago specifically to work with GlobalPlatform members as part of the Card Compliance Working Group on the development of UICC test tools.

04/2011 – Barnes International receives MasterCard Qualification of Card Personalisation Validation (CPV) Module
30th April 2011, London - Barnes International is pleased to announce the qualification of its MasterCard Card Personalisation Test Module (CPV module) for MasterCard® Worldwide to the latest CPV Personalization Validation Tool (PVT) Requirements version 4.2, dated March 2011. This latest CPV tool was developed in a joint effort between Barnes and FIME and further adds to the effectiveness and accuracy of the Barnes CPT3000v3 and CAT3000v3 PVT Test Tools when testing MasterCard and PayPass™ enabled cards for certification purposes.
